E.ON Next is committed to putting the customer at the heart of everything they do, so they offer multiple ways to pay your bill to make things as easy as possible. You can pay by cash in your nearest Payzone store or Post Office branch, online or over the phone, by bank transfer or direct debit or by sending a cheque in the post.
You can top up your prepayment meter with E.ON Next at your nearest Payzone store or Post Office branch. Simply take your gas card or electricity key where you will be able to pay over the counter with cash. Credit or debit card payments can be made at the discretion of the Payzone shop owner.
You can pay by direct debit and if you have a direct debit set up with E.ON Next, they will notify you a few days before the payment is due to be taken from your account. You will pay a fixed amount of money each month but if you feel you are paying too much or too little to cover the energy you are using, you can amend this through your online account.

You can pay your E.ON Next bills online via the app, by logging into your account or by direct debit through your mobile banking app.
To make payments through the app, download the E.ON Next app from the Apple App Store or Google Play and log in to your account. You can view and download statements, send meter readings and make payments through the app.
To pay your E.ON Next bill online, you can log in to your account here and make a secure payment.
Alternatively, you can pay by direct debit through your online banking app. You should use your E.ON Next account number as the reference, which can be found on any bills, emails or letters you have received. Here are the payment details:

You can top up your E.ON Next prepayment meter at any Payzone store or Post Office branch. There are over 24,000 Payzone stores and Post Office branches across the UK. Use our Store Locator to find your nearest Payzone store, or the Branch Finder to locate your nearest Post Office.
You can top up your pay-as-you-go gas meter at any Payzone store or Post Office branch. To top up, simply hand your card or key to the shop attendant and pay for the required amount. You can top up any amount but £1 being the minimum payment. Once you have topped up your gas card, put it into your meter and hold the ‘A’ button to transfer the credit from your card to your meter.
At a Payzone or Post Office branch
Take your electricity key to any Payzone store or Post Office branch and hand over the key when you get to the till. Tell the shop owner how much you would like to top up and remember this should be a minimum of £1 and rounded to the nearest pound only. The shop owner will put the credit on your key which will transfer to your meter when you put the key back in.
Online
You can pay your bill online by logging into your account, signing into the app or by making a bank transfer from your online banking account.

If you’re a customer with an E.ON Next prepayment meter, you can’t top up without a gas card or electricity key.
If you have lost your gas card or need a replacement, you can collect one from your nearest Payzone SuperAgent. Payzone SuperAgents are highlighted in blue on our Store Locator.

If you’re a E.ON Next customer with a smart meter, you can top up without a card online, through the E.ON Next app or over the phone.
If your card is not accepted, shown as M***** or M----- on your meter display, call E.ON Next on 0808 501 5200.
If you have lost your gas card or need a replacement, you can collect one from your nearest Payzone SuperAgent. Payzone SuperAgents are highlighted in blue on our Store Locator.
You can also call E.ON Next on 0808 501 5200 to replace your card.
If you need to access emergency credit, your meter will make £5 available to you. You'll need to pay this back when you next top up.
If you are a gas customer, you can use the emergency credit if you've got less than £2 left. Just insert your card into the meter and press the red button 'A'
If you are an electricity customer, you can access emergency credit if you've got less than 50p left. Insert your key into the meter and press the blue button.
The minimum amount you can top up is £1 and you can only top up in full pounds.
As soon as you know your moving date, you should contact E.ON Next to let them know so you don’t end up paying for someone else's energy. You’ll just need to take some meter readings when you move so you can close your E.ON Next account.
